Products

The PSOC™ 4100 family is a series of mixed-signal programmable embedded system controllers based on the PSOC™ 4 platform architecture. It features an Arm® Cortex®-M0 CPU, providing high performance and low power consumption. The PSOC™ 4100 family combines intelligent and reconfigurable analog and digital blocks, allowing for flexibility and customization. It integrates high-performance analog-to-digital conversion, operational amplifiers, low power comaprators, and standard communication and timing peripherals.

The PSOC™ 4100 microcontrollers also feature CAPSENSE™, a capacitive sensing solution that enables designers to create touch-sensing interfaces with high sensitivity and noise immunity. Additionally, the PSOC™ 4100 microcontrollers offer upward compatibility with other PSOC™ 4 platform members, making it easy to migrate designs to new applications.

  • Two opamps with reconfigurable high-drive external and high-bandwidth internal drive and Comparator modes and ADC input buffering capability
  • 12-bit 806 ksps SAR ADC with differential and single-ended modes and Channel Sequencer with signal averaging
  • Two current DACs (IDACs) for general-purpose or capacitive sensing applications on any pin
  •  Two low-power comparators that operate in Deep Sleep
  • CAPSENSE™ Sigma-Delta (CSD) provides best-in-class SNR (>5:1) and water tolerance
  • Infineon supplied software component makes capacitive sensing design easy
  • Automatic hardware tuning (SmartSense™)
  • CAPSENSE™ function can thus be provided on any available pin or group of pins in a system under software control.

PSOC™ Creator is an Integrated Design Environment (IDE) that enables concurrent hardware and firmware editing, compiling and debugging of PSOC™ and FM0+ systems. Applications are created using schematic capture and over 150 pre-verified, production-ready peripheral Components.
