The ICC80QSG is a PWM controller for flyback topologies operating in quasi-resonant mode and valley switching DCM, to achieve high efficiency of power transfer across wide operating range. The IC is easy to design in and requires a minimum number of external components. The gate driver current enables reasonable designs up to 130W with state-of-the-art MOSFETs.
