Infineon’s PROFET™ protected high-side MOSFET power switches deliver robust solutions for automotive power switch and industrial smart switch applications, available as single and multi-channel devices – including dedicated PROFET™ + 48 V variants for 48 V electric and mild hybrid vehicles.

The PROFET™ family supports 12 V, 24 V, and 48 V power distribution switch requirements, replacing classic fuses and relays with fast µs switching and comprehensive protection against overload, overvoltage, short-circuit, overtemperature, ground loss, and power supply loss. HITFET™ (Highly Integrated Temperature-protected FET) is Infineon's intelligent power switch solution for low-side power distribution. Built-in protective features guard against overcurrent, overvoltage, short-circuit, overtemperature, and electrostatic discharge (ESD). The Classic HITFET™ delivers high energy capability with RDS(on) down to 10 mΩ, making it ideal for demanding power MOSFET switch circuit applications, body control modules, solenoid and valve control, and exterior lighting.
