Infineon offers power management solutions from standard ICs to high-performance, power MOSFETs, AC/DC power supply controllers (PFC, PWM), DC/DC and linear voltage regulators (LDO) and AC-Switches, helping you to complete your design.
The power stage consists of electronic switching devices such as MOSFETs, Bipolar Transistors and Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBT). They are responsible for a well regulated, smooth and highly efficient energy transfer to the motor. Infineon offers a broad range of automotive and industrial qualified power MOSFETs including the N-channel/P-channel OptiMOS™ (20V – 250V) and CoolMOS™ (500V – 900V) families, silicon carbide based JFET (1200V) technology as well as a full portfolio of discrete IGBTs, power modules and stacks.
Traditional interfaces such as RS-232/RS-485 remain popular choices for motor control applications. Looking forward, designers are integrating a broad range of interfaces such as SPI, I 2C, USB, Ethernet into their products.
