About

Infineon's PSOC™ Automotive 4 S series is now available with enhanced features, including the PSOC™ Automotive 4100S Max family, which offers a whopping 384 KB flash capacity and up to 84 pins of analog and digital GPIO. This family also introduces the latest generation of the CAPSENSE™ IP, the MSC CAPSENSE™, that delivers superior performance and noise immunity.

With the PSOC™ Automotive 4100S Max family, you can take advantage of the enhanced features to implement even more complex applications in your automotive designs.

The MSC CAPSENSE™ IP provides better sensing accuracy and faster response times, making it an ideal choice for applications that require reliable and precise touch sensing. Moreover, the PSOC™ Automotive 4100S Max family has broadened the PSOC™ Automotive 4 portfolio by offering high-speed communication from fast I2C or CAN FD and includes in addition a dedicated cryptography block for fast cryptographic functions.

Whether you need advanced analog and digital capabilities, expanded flash capacity, or superior touch sensing, the PSOC™ Automotive 4100 S Max series has got you covered!

In terms of serial communication, the PSOC™ Automotive 4100S Max family boasts of five independent run-time-reconfigurable SCBs. These SCBs support reconfigurable I2C, SPI, UART, or LIN 1.3, 2.1/2.2 functionality, providing versatile communication options for your automotive systems with up to 84 programmable GPIO pins. Any GPIO pin can be configured for CAPSENSE™, LCD, analog, or digital functions, giving you the freedom to tailor your design to your exact specifications.

The family offers a range of analog capabilities, including two opamps with reconfigurable high-drive external and high-bandwidth internal drive. It also supports comparator mode and ADC input buffering capability and the latest generation of the CAPSENSE™ IP, the MSC CAPSENSE™. Moreover, PSOC™ 4100S Max offers high-resolution ADC with a 12-bit 1 Msps SAR ADC with differential and single-ended modes.

The integrated channel sequencer with signal averaging ensures accurate data acquisition for your applications. Two low-power comparators operate even in deep-sleep mode, ensuring system functionality while conserving power.
