|XMC4500 Relax/Relax Lite Kit|
The XMC4500 Relax Kit and the XMC4500 Relax Lite Kit are new budget-priced evaluation boards for the XMC4000 Microcontroller family from Infineon. At the heart of these development platforms is the XMC4500 Microcontroller, equipped with an ARM Cortex®-M4F CPU running on 120MHz, 1MB Flash and 160KB RAM. The Relax Lite Kit offers a complete set of on-board devices and plugs to run USB-based applications and to develop human machine interfaces with buttons and LEDs. The Relax Kit extends Lite Kit functionality with an Ethernet-enabled communication option. It also allows developers to explore mass storage and file systems using a microSD card. In addition, it comes with serial flash memory. Unlike the XMC4000 Application Kit, the XMC4500 Relax and Relax Lite Kits are single-board evaluation platforms. They cannot be extended with application-specific satellite cards for communication, human machine interfaces or actuator and sensor control. Developers should upgrade from the XMC4500 Relax Kit or Relax Lite Kit to the appropriate XMC4000 Application Kit if they require satellite cards for functions such as these.
