Half-bridge level-shift dual-channel gate driver IC 2EDL81 for medium voltage MOSFETs with integrated 120V bootstrap diode
The EiceDRIVER™ 2EDL81 family of dual-channel junction-isolated gate driver ICs is designed for medium-voltage power MOSFETs in half-bridge applications such as telecom and datacom DC-DC converters, low voltage drives, and solar. The device takes in differential input with built-in hysteresis for enhanced noise immunity, and with the inherent shoot-through protection, ensures the robustness of the system. The propagation delay of 47ns and maximum delay of 4ns matching ensure the energy balance in the system.
The gate driver family features up to 4A source and up to 6A sink current, integrated 120V bootstrap diode, truly differential control inputs and excellent timing accuracy. This optimizes the EiceDRIVER™ 2EDL81 gate driver to minimize power MOSFET switching losses and concurrently maximize switching noise immunity. The high power density enables BoM savings.
