HITFET™+ 24V is Infineon's latest generation of highly integrated, temperature-protected low-side switches for automotive and industrial applications with up to 50% size reduction compared to its predecessor, the Classic HITFET™ 12V portfolio. This family supports fast switching up to 20 kHz with an RDS(on) 16 mΩ or 50 mΩ in TDSO-8 packages.

Infineon’s Classic HITFET™ 24 V (“Highly Integrated Temperature protected MOSFET”) low-side switches have been established in the market for more than 25 years. Thanks to their reliable technology, these devices are the right solution for applications that require high robustness and energy capability. The Classic HITFET™ 24 V family is available as single- and dual-channel device with RDS(ON) range from 18 mΩ to 121 mΩ. This family comes in two different packages: TO-252 and TO-263 and its devices boast an impressive range of protection and diagnostic features, including short-circuit, overload, overtemperature, overvoltage, and ESD protection. The Classic HITFET™ 24 V family also offers both latch and restart device options, making it versatile and easy to tailor to specific application needs.

Infineon offers a range of design-in materials, which include application notes, evaluation boards, PCB design data, simulation models, and online simulations that are available on each product page in the "Design Support" section. In addition, Infineon offers a dedicated tool suite for smart power switches and gate driver ICs for automotive power distribution.
Infineon smart power switches and gate driver tool suite support system architects and hardware designers from idea to realization. This suite allows the user to select the right smart power switch or gate driver IC for a specific load using one of the “Finder & Selection” tools. Together with the different “Simulation & Modeling” tools, various application scenarios can be simulated for the respective product. The results can be documented in the report tool and verified with the “Configuration” tools plus the corresponding evaluation boards.
