Start of production in Villach
Exactly 50 years ago today, Siemens Bauelemente GmbH started production in Villach. In a rented building in Tafernerstraße 6, 24 employees started the assembly of diodes on a total of 725 m². This was the beginning of the eventful success story of Infineon in Austria.
