The XMC 2Go has a complete set of on-board devices, including an on-board debugger to immediately start code development. Build your own application and gadget with the XMC 2Go – it fits perfectly fine on a breadboard. Or carry the XMC 2Go with you, it’s shaped like a key chain.

XMC4500 Relax / Relax Lite Kit

The XMC4500 Relax Kit and the XMC4500 Relax Lite Kit are new budget-priced evaluation boards for the XMC4000 microcontroller family from Infineon. At the heart of these development platforms is the XMC4500 microcontroller, equipped with an ARM Cortex®-M4F CPU running on 120 MHz, 1MB Flash and 160KB RAM. The Relax Lite Kit offers a complete set of on-board devices and plugs to run USB-based applications and to develop human machine interfaces with buttons and LEDs. The Relax Kit extends Lite Kit functionality with an Ethernet-enabled communication option. It also allows developers to explore mass storage and file systems using a microSD card. In addition, it comes with serial flash memory. Unlike the XMC4000 Application Kit, the XMC4500 Relax and Relax Lite Kits are single-board evaluation platforms. They cannot be extended with application-specific satellite cards for communication, human machine interfaces or actuator and sensor control. Developers should upgrade from the XMC4500 Relax Kit or Relax Lite Kit to the appropriate XMC4000 Application Kit if they require satellite cards for functions such as these.

 

XMC4000 Application Kit

Hexagon Application Kit  

The XMC4000 Application Kit is a versatile new tool for the XMC4000 family. At the heart of this development platform is the CPU board with the new XMC4500 microcontroller. Kit functionality can be expanded to suit specific applications by means of satellite cards. The actuator satellite, for example, provides an extensive range of motor control functions thanks to its resolver circuit, encoder interface and shunt current sensing. The human machine interface (HMI) board comes with an OLED display plus audio, touch and SD/MMC functions. The communication satellite enables developers to implement remote control via Ethernet. This board also supports MultiCAN and RS485 interfaces. In addition to these three satellites, developers can also connect their own boards.

The hexagon shape greatly increases the technical appeal of the XMC4000 kit. It means that 3 boards can be easily attached to the kit without interfering with each other. This makes it even easier for users to test the XMC4000 series.
