EZ-USB™ FX2LP FX2G2 USB 2.0 Peripheral Controller
Introducing USB 480 Mbps to 16-bit data bus with 8051
Infineon's EZ-USB™ FX2LP and EZ-USB™ FX2G2 are the industry’s defacto USB 2.0 peripheral controller, adding a USB high-speed (480 Mbps), full-speed (12 Mbps) and low-speed (1.5 Mbps) connectivity to any system.
The general programmable interface (GPIF) of EZ-USB™ FX2LP and FX2G2 can connect to a processor, an image sensor, an FPGA, or an ASIC. Users can program GPIF (general programmable interface) to behave like a FIFO, an asynchronous SRAM, an address/data multiplexed interface, a CompactFlash, or a proprietary interface.
