2023년 3월 14일, 서울 – 스마트 웨어러블 및 IoT 디바이스는 공간 및 전력 제약에도 불구하고 많은 기능을 제공하면서 다양한 애플리케이션에서 점점 더 인기를 얻고 있다. 웨어러블에 NFC 기능을 추가하면 매장에서 결제하거나 대중교통을 이용하거나 사무실 건물에 출입하는 데 사용할 수 있다. 인피니언 테크놀로지스(코리아 대표이사 이승수)의 올인원 턴키 NFC 솔루션인 SECORA™ Connect X는 이러한 트렌드를 지원한다. 이 초저전력 부스트 NFC 솔루션은 EMVCo 기반 결제를 위한 손쉬운 경로를 제공한다. 또한 이 솔루션은 스마트 반지, 손목 밴드, 스마트 워치 등 스마트 웨어러블을 위한 NFC 무선 충전을 가능하게 하여 더욱 사용자 친화적이고 편리하다.

ABI 리서치 에 따르면[[1]], 스마트 웨어러블은 연평균(CAGR) 12.8퍼센트 성장하여 2027년 약 7억 대에 달할 것으로 전망된다. 운동선수들의 운동 루틴을 모니터링하는 오우라 링(Oura Ring), 후프 밴드(Whoop Band) 피트니스 트래커와 같은 웨어러블이 현재 널리 사용되고 있다. 심혈관 질환 및 비만과 같은 만성 질환의 증가도 웨어러블에 대한 수요를 증가시키고 있다. 또한 팬데믹으로 인해 쉽고 빠르고 편리한 디지털 결제 옵션에 대한 트렌드가 가속화되면서 서비스 제공업체는 원활한 비접촉 결제 경험을 위해 다양한 IoT 지원 디바이스를 개발하게 되었다. 이러한 디바이스에는 새로운 소형 폼 팩터, 높은 보안은 물론 신뢰할 수 있는 소비자 및 결제 데이터 보호가 필요하다.
초소형 디바이스를 위한 결제 및 NFC 무선 충전
SECORA Connect X 부스트 NFC 솔루션은 보안적인 원격 관리 기능을 제공하고 해당 스마트 디바이스에서 소비자 인증을 가능하게 한다. 주로 결제, 교통 및 액세스 애플리케이션을 위해 설계된 SECORA Connect X는 보안 NFC 활용 사례를 빠르게 개발할 수 있도록 한다. 인피니언은 스마트 링 제조사들이 초소형 디바이스에 하나의 NFC 안테나를 사용해서 결제와 NFC 무선 충전 두 기능을 통합할 수 있도록 지원하고 있다.
PSoC™ 기반 평가 키트의 사전 인증된 결제 애플리케이션, 간단한 사용자 인터페이스 및 손쉬운 호스트 통합을 통해 개발자와 OEM은 원활한 마이그레이션 경로와 전반적인 시장 출시 기간 단축의 이점을 누릴 수 있다. 또한 CDCVM(Consumer Device Cardholder Verification Method) 기능은 거래 시간을 단축하고 보안을 강화하며 단말기에서 추가 PIN 입력 없이 원활한 고객 인증을 수행할 수 있도록 한다. 결제 데이터는 동급 최상의 보안을 위해 인피니언 보안칩에 저장된다.
초저전력 소비로 배터리 사용 시간 연장
SECORA Connect X 멀티 칩 패키지는 작은 풋프린트의 단일 소형 안테나에 연결되어 디바이스의 크기를 줄이면서 설계 유연성을 높인다. 뿐만 아니라 SECORA Connect X는 칩 크기를 줄인 간단한 외부 회로 레이아웃, 7개 이하의 커패시터, 고도로 최적화된 컴팩트한 형태가 특징이다. 초소형 안테나는 배터리 충전 시간을 단축시켜 45분 이내에 20~80%까지 충전할 수 있다.
이 솔루션의 초저전력 소비 덕분에 총 배터리 수명은 3~4일에 달할 수 있다. 또한 결제 솔루션의 대기 모드는 인피니언의 강화된 NFC 설계를 통해 시중의 다른 제품보다 훨씬 적은 4~6µA만을 필요로 하기 때문에 배터리 수명에 거의 영향을 미치지 않는다. 결과적으로 SECORA Connect X는 최적의 트랜잭션 성능을 구현하여 고객 편의를 향상시킨다.
공급
