SECORA™ Pay Green is a game-changer for payment card sustainability. With this solution, a small module holds the security controller and all software components, along with an eco-friendly Coil on Module (ECoM) package that integrates the contactless antenna. This innovative approach leads to more than 60% reduction in the CO2 emissions associated with the sourcing and logistics of the electrical raw materials (security chip and module) for card production, as reported by Climate Partner.

As part of our innovative SECORA™ Pay family, SECORA™ Pay Green revolutionizes the whole concept of dual-interface payment cards at the card design level for more sustainability.

SECORA™ Pay Green for dual-interface cards combines the security controller and all software components, along with the new eco-friendly Coil-on-Module (eCoM) package which holds all security components and integrates the contactless antenna.

This means a new generation of payment card technology compared to state-of-the-art payment cards that require the embedding of a separate copper wire antenna in the card with various material layers including inlay foil.

SECORA™ Pay Green enables card designs with only one component now being able to be integrated in a variety of sustainable card materials, acting as a role model for decarbonization
