Infineon YIP is a unique idea management program that rewards good ideas with attractive bonus payments. YIP stands for “Your Idea Pays” and it means just that: good ideas that create cost savings or generate revenue get paid when the ideas are implemented. With YIP, every employee can contribute to Infineon’s success either an individual or as part of a team. Any improvement idea, simple or complex, that streamlines operations, increases productivity, enhances quality is an idea eligible for the YIP program.


What are eligible YIP ideas?

Any improvement idea, no matter how simple or complex, in any of the following areas is an idea eligible for the YIP program:

  • Streamlining operations
  • Enhancing product or process quality
  • Increasing manufacturing output without additional investment
  • Simplifying processes
  • 5S improvement
  • ESH enhancement

Who can participate in YIP?

Everyone – regular employee, apprentice, trainee, intern, and contract staff – basically anybody who submits an idea that could benefit the company can participate in YIP.

One can participate either individually or as part of a team.
