Infineon Embedded Power ICs are supported by a complete development tool chain provided by Infineon and third party vendors. The tool chain includes compilers, debuggers, evaluation boards, LIN low level drivers and configuration tools as well as variety of example software code.

STEP 1

Download and Install your preferred IDE

a) Keil®µVision5

b) IAR Embedded Workbench®

IAR SYSTEM
  • Arm®Keil® µVision and IAR Systems® Embedded Workbench for ARM are two integrated development environments which consist of code editor, compiler and debugger.
  • To learn how to use Arm® Keil® µVision 5, check out our video "Get your motor spinning".
STEP 2

Download

Config Wizard
  • Infineon provides the Config Wizard free of charge which is designed for configuration of chip modules. Config Wizard supports easy configuring of Embedded Power peripherals.
  • Config Wizard V2 can be installed via the Infineon Toolbox. If you don’t have the Infineon Toolbox yet, please go to Infineon Toolbox and enjoy the release management for updates.*
STEP 3

Download and Install

Segger J-Link Driver

 SEGGER
  • SEGGER J-Link is a widely used driver for "on-board" or "stand-alone" debugger.
STEP 4

Download the SDK 

a) via µVision 5 Pack Installer (see step 1)

b) from the Keil software packages webpage (https://www.keil.com/dd2/pack/ ) and import it to the CMSIS Manager of IAR Embedded Workbench®		 infineon_logo_neu
  • The Embedded Power Software Development Kit (SDK) is a low level driver library which can be used in Keil® µVision5 and IAR Embedded Workbench®.
  • Note: IAR Embedded Workbench® is supported from SDK v1.5.0 onwards.
