Evaluation Kit, to evaluate 4-PLL High Performance Clock Generator (CY27410)

CY3679 is the evaluation kit to evaluate and prototype your entire clock tree using CY27410 4-PLL High Performance Clock Generator.

TThe kit provides SMA connectors, supporting multiple I/O standards - HCSL, LVPECL, LVDS, CML and LVCMOS - to evaluate all the 12 outputs individually. These are also meant to demonstrate the value-added features of CY27410 which include - 

  • Glitch-free frequency switching
  • Frequency Select
  • Phase alignment of outputs
  • Early/late phase clocks
  • Spread Spectrum clock generation
  • Voltage Controlled Frequency Synthesis (VCFS)

The kit comes with 4 pre-loaded profile (with sets of 12 frequencies each) which can be selected on the board using the Frequency Select switch. The Clock Wizardenables you to create the configuration file, and also to program the Clock device present on the Evaluation Kit. The kit has been built for evaluation purpose only and not for using directly as is in an end equipment. Hence we do not comply with all the standards (Ex: CE certification)
