Neubiberg, 22. November 2022 – Infineon Technologies AG has reached the top position in the Diversity Leaders Index. The ranking, published by the Financial Times and Statista, is based on an independent survey of more than 100,000 employees from 16 countries across Europe. Participants were asked to give their opinion on a series of statements surrounding age, gender, ethnicity, disability, and sexual orientation. The 850 companies receiving the highest total scores made the final list of Diversity Leaders.

"We are thrilled to be ranked at the top of the Diversity Leaders ranking. This encourages us even more to continue our work toward an inclusive culture in which all employees - free from prejudice and with equal opportunities - can make their contribution”, says Severine Fiegler, Vice President HR Talent Network & Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Health at Infineon Technologies AG.

Infineon is mentioned as one of the first companies to sign the Diversity Charter in Germany in 2007, which aims to increase diversity in the workforce. With this approach, the company was able to make it into the Top Five of the Diversity Leaders Ranking in all the four years that the index exists.
