Which costs are covered?
If you participate in the hackathon you will receive a free ticket for the Innovation Congress 2019 in Villach, which you can e.g. use on November 13 (Innovation Night) and November 14 after the hackathon. Moreover, catering and two nights in a shared hotel room are covered (30 beds, first come, first serve).

How many people will participate in the hackathon?
We can support up to 50 people at the hackathon. Teams typically consist of 3-4 members. However, you can work on your own project.

Do I need a concept ready to participate in the hackathon?
No, you can still define your project at the start of the hackathon. However if you already have a convincing idea it will increase your chance of a fast admission to the event.

Which people will be selected for the hackathon?
This depends on your application. Skills in embedded programming are a plus, engagement in a start-up or a sound technical education. The likelihood to participate also depends on the competition in your hackathon track.

May I keep the Infineon hardware I receive during the hackathon?
This depends on the technology you will use at the hackathon.

Do I have to come to Villach to attend the hackathon?
Yes, you will have to be present in Villach to attend the hackathon.

What about the hackathon culture?
Please stick to the Code of Conduct of Austrian Startups to engage in a respectuful collaboration.
