The semiconductor market continues to drive IGBT technologies to achieve new levels of power density, robustness and performance.
The new TRENCHSTOP™ 1700 V IGBT7 technology and correspondingly the new best-in-class 900 A EconoDUAL™ 3 module provides the features to achieve this level: reduced static and dynamic power losses, improved du/dt controllability and diode softness and enhanced cosmic ray robustness. Together with the maximum operation temperature of 175°C at overload, high efficiency and power density are achieved, enabling system simplification and cost reduction.
The broad EconoDUAL™ 3 1700 V portfolio from 225 A up to 900 A address the wide range of applications ranging from tens of kW up to MW.

Especially for the Wind Application:
The 750 A 1700 V EconoDUAL™ FF750R17ME7D_B11 features an enlarged diode/IGBT ratio, which provides high performance in AFE rectifier and in wind application and enables the possibility to use only one module type at different application conditions.
