What is your main idea?

Our software product, the IPT.Stack, enables engineers to combine their human experience with artificial intelligence to optimize manufacturing processes. It uses formalized expert knowledge and machine data to predict optimal process parameters. As a result, the IPT.Stack significantly reduces rework and production rejects. This brings production to a whole new level of efficiency. Our business model is based on annual license fees for the use of our software.

What is/was your biggest challenge so far?

To fully benefit from our software, customers need a digitalized production line or the willingness to establish one. Our (potential) clients are large manufacturing companies, e.g. OEMs and suppliers in the automotive industry. They need to be open-minded about change and innovation. However, innovative spirit isn’t always easy to find. Therefore, it is important to us to have close customer interactions to ensure right expectations from both sides. In addition, we cooperate with established business partners, which know the industry well and help us connecting with companies that are in need for higher efficiency levels.

What does a (good) partner mean for you?

A good business partnership requires constant commitment from both sides to generate a win-win-situation. On the one hand, we benefit from our business partners which incorporate our software IPT.Stack into their own projects. On the other hand, by incorporating our product we put our partners on the leading edge of innovation. This helps them to distinguish themselves from their competitors and thereby obtaining a decisive competitive advantage.
