Axyon.AI

What is your main idea?

Axyon brings deep learning-powered solutions to finance. Our technological advantage is represented by a proprietary platform specifically built for financial problems. Axyon aims at becoming a market leader in specific high-margin finance niches, characterized by high returns for improved prediction accuracy, by providing highly accurate predictive solutions based on Deep Learning. The final objective is listing in the stock market or being acquired by a large financial or by a large system integrator, where our technology, used internally, can lead to enormous returns.

What is/was your biggest challenge so far?

Our biggest challenge is the length of the sales process. Our customers are large financial institutions, and we are especially working with corporate investment bankers; we cannot build a landing page, spend some money on AdWords, and hope that the Head of Loan Syndication of large bank will sign-up for a trial. Reducing this initial phase is extremely challenging. We have now identified two ways to start a conversation with customers: participating in high profile conferences (like the Nvidia Inception Award); establishing partnership with large companies to leverage their existing networks.

What does a (good) partner mean for you?

A good partnership is a partnership that starts with a clear, measurable and straight-forward win-win outcome. This needs a strategy with both parties equally involved, and where the result of this collaboration is greater than the sum of the results that each company could have achieved acting separately. A good partner is someone you trust, you really appreciate, and you enjoy working with. Establishing collaborations with business partners, scientific advisors, technology providers is crucial for startups: there is much more you can learn and achieve from a mutual successful collaboration.
