PhD scholarship program

Our PhD-scholarship program is specifically addressed to PhD students from Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
  • Are you studying for a PhD in an eastern or southeastern European country?
  • Do you want to work on solving the major challenges of Europe and the world?
  • Would you like to contribute your knowledge and commitment to the development of tomorrow's technologies in close cooperation with Infineon Austria's experts as part of our PhD program?
  • Would you like to shape the coming years with us and become part of our Mission Future, which we launched as part of IPCEI on microelectronics?

Then check if your fields of research match our requirements, follow the application process and come on board!

Benefits for Scholarship PhD's

As a PhD student, we at Infineon Austria will support you for three years with a monthly contribution. You can continue your studies at your place of study and at the same time benefit from experience in an international company. You will work closely with your Infineon supervisor.

We offer you the opportunity to intensify the relationship with your Infineon supervisor throughout research stay on-site twice a year within the duration of one month at Infineon Villach. You have access to training & events to exchange know-how & strengthen the connection directly to the industry.

Traveling & accommodation expenses
You will have the opportunity to come to Villach twice a year to conduct your research. We will cover your travel and accommodation expenses.

Access to laboratory & infrastructure
The opportunity will be given to you to access laboratories & use the most innovative equipment, Infineon's hardware, software and other infrastructure.

Within the IPCEI PhD program, several customized trainings are offered to improve your personal and professional skills.
