Benefits and advantages of CoolGaN™ in HP & MP SMPS

Webinar date: 10.04.2025 | 9 AM CET | 5 PM CET

In this webinar you will get an in-depth insight into the benefits and advantages that GaN can offer for high-, and medium power Switched Mode Power Supplies. Our speakers will guide you through the main trends, topologies and requirements of high-, and medium power SMPS, and present the solutions Infineon offers for the highest efficiency and best performance.

You will learn how to elevate your SMPS designs to a new level using GaN power devices; and explore the reference designs that Infineon offers to facilitate the rapid development of new devices, and provide support for the engineers with their ease-of-use.

The webinar showcases Infineon’s CoolGaN™ solutions, highlighting their capability to operate at higher switching frequencies. This operation at higher frequencies not only reduces system size and Bill of Materials (BOM) costs but also minimizes power losses, paving the way for more compact and efficient power supply designs.

Don’t miss the opportunity to gain exclusive knowledge of the latest trends and revolutionize your SMPS design!

You will learn about:

  • System design considerations for GaN-based high-frequency topologies, Bridgeless Totem Pole (BTP) Power Factor Correction (PFC) and LLC resonant converters
  • Advantages of using GaN transistors in your SMPS design
  • Reference designs Infineon has to offer to accelerate innovation in power applications.
