16-bit MCU which covers the range from 64KB to 384KB embedded Flash memory
The 16LX family features a 16-bit CISC architecture for optimized performance and low power consumption. The wide product range is appropriate for automotive and indsutrial applications.
The 16LX family features a 16-bit CISC CPU with an operating speed up to 33MHz.
Memory options include from 64KB to 384KB embedded Flash memory and several mask ROM options.
Various power saving modes are available.
A security feature incorporated on some devices prevents unauthorized reading of the content of the Flash memory.
Enhanced features include support for CAN and Local Interconnect Network (LIN), a sound generator, a stepper motor controller (SMC), and an I2C bus interface. Other advanced features include analog input channels, an external bus interface, and SPI interfaces. There are selectable port levels for CMOS, TTL and automotive levels. The devices are available in 48- to 120-pin packages.
16LX family is supported only for the customers who have already adopted any of the products. These are not recommended for new designs
