CYBLE-022001-EVAL Evaluation Board
The Infineon AIROC™ Bluetooth® CYBLE-022001-EVAL Board enables you to help evaluate and develop applications on the CYBLE-022001-00 Module. The Infineon AIROC™ Bluetooth® CYBLE-022001-00 module is a fully certified and qualified module supporting Bluetooth® Low Energy wireless communication. The Infineon AIROC™ Bluetooth® CYBLE-022001-00 module is a turnkey solution and includes onboard crystal oscillators, chip antenna, passive components, and the Infineon PSoC™ 4 MCU with AIROC™ Bluetooth LE.
The Infineon AIROC™ Bluetooth® CYBLE-022001-EVAL Board is supported via the PSoC™ Creator, which is an Integrated Design Environment (IDE) that enables concurrent hardware and firmware editing, compiling and debugging. The Bluetooth® Low Energy Component inside the PSoC™ Creator provides a comprehensive GUI-based configuration window that lets you quickly design applications. The Component incorporates a Bluetooth Core Specification v5.1 compliant Bluetooth LE protocol stack and provides API functions to enable user applications to interface with the underlying Sub-System hardware via the stack.
The EZ-Serial Firmware Platform provides a simple way to access the most common hardware and communication features needed in Bluetooth® LE applications. EZ-Serial implements an intuitive API protocol over the UART interface and exposes various status and control signals through the module’s GPIOs, making it easy to add Bluetooth® LE functionality quickly to existing designs.
The CYBLE-022001-EVAL board can be used with the Bluetooth Low Energy Pioneer Kit (CY8CKIT-042-BLE) and PSoC™ Creator to develop BLE applications.
To enable easy prototyping, the evaluation board routes the GPIOs of the on-board EZ-BLE PRoC Module to the CAPSENSE™ slider, RGB LED, switches, PSoC™ 5 LP and FRAM on the BLE Pioneer Baseboard.
The CYBLE-022001-EVAL board can also be programmed and debugged with the PSoC™ MiniProg3 Program and Debug Kit (CY8CKIT-002) and PSoC™ Creator.

CYBLE-022001-EVAL also works with almost any PRoC BLE example project that is available with the Bluetooth Low Energy Pioneer Kit (CY8CKIT-042-BLE).
