Component Libraries for RF Devices



Infineon Technologies provides Component Libraries for part of its product portfolio. This ensures convenient customer access to the latest model versions and a seamless integration into our customer’s circuit and system simulators. These libraries:

  • are available in different formats
    • NI AWR Microwave Office (MWO®)
    • Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS®)
    • Spice 2G6
  • include electrical device models
    • nonlinear Spice models
    • and/or linear S-Parameter files (SnP, MDIF/GMDIF file in Touchstone format
  • include, if applicable, circuit symbols for schematics
  • include, if applicable, land-patterns (footprints) according to recommended footprint dimensions
  • can be used with advanced symbols and footprints which provide additional information for PCB design and the production process (available as separate downloads for individual component

Component Libraries for AWR Microwave Office (MWO ®)

Infineon provides two identical component libraries for AWR Microwave Office: an online and a local version.

  • The online version provides real-time up-to-date models of Infineon RF devices. This library is available via the “Elements Browser” in the AWR Design Environment and can be directly accessed under “ X Libraries -> *AWR web site -> Parts by Vendor -> Infineon”. The models are sorted according to Infineon’s product groups. Please note that the online libraries are only available when the AWR Design Environment has internet access.

  • The local version provides several component libraries sorted according to Infineon’s product groups. Users can download and install this version on their PC for offline use. Please note that library updates have to be performed manually by the user (we recommend signing up for Infineon’s model newsletter). A step by step description on how to setup a local component library is provided in Infineon’s Local Component Libraries Installation Guide for AWR Microwave Office.

 

Component Libraries for Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS ®)

Infineon provides a local component library for Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS ®). This local version consists of several component libraries sorted according to Infineon’s product groups. Users can download and install this version on their PC for offline use. Please note that library updates have to be performed manually by the user (we recommend signing up for Infineon’s model newsletter). A step by step description on how to setup a local component library is provided in Infineon’s Local Component Libraries Installation Guide for Keysight Advanced Design System.
