Engine control unit

Engine control unit for use on single and twin engines, as OFF-ROAD applications typically require. A sturdy and metallic container filled with a special insulating resin, makes it ideal for use in critical environmental conditions, offering a high degree of IP protection, as well as a high resistance to extreme vibrations. The main features of this product, developed around a powerful and modern CPU, include reduced overall dimensions and weight as well as a series of integrated auxiliary devices: 

  • Inertial platform 6 DOF (degrees of freedom) 
  • Controller for Lambda Wide Band sensor 
  • Memory for data acquisition 
  • Integrated WiFi communication system

Engine control ECU for engines up to 4 cylinders




Engine control ECU for engines up to 4 cylinders, and for applications on vehicles with Ride By Wire management systems. It uses a powerful, high-performance 32-bit multicore CPU to ensure performance and flexibility. It involves the use of software developed in Model Based, and the supply to interested customers of a complete tool based on Matlab-Simulink® that allows the development and simulation of control algorithms in complete autonomy. Compact, lightweight and with an Automotive certified connector, the MKE5 ECU integrates:

  • Inertial platform 6DOF (degrees of freedom)
  • Controller for Lambda Wide Band sensor
  • Memory for data acquisition WiFi communication system
  • Dedicated memory for LogBook function
  • Flexible and programmable I / O
