I like the open culture at Infineon, which is based on trust and partnership beyond the functional/organizational boundaries.

My official title is IT service delivery manager for global R&D, within this function I represent several roles not limited to:

  • Taking care about the forecast process for our global compute datacenters in regards to high performance computing
  • Transform new R&D requirements into implementation, eg. applied machine learning.

Besides this I also own roles in regards trends scouting and enterprise architecture engagement.

So let’s focus on IT megatrends (technology and methodology trends): here, I have the pleasure to work with other colleagues on the assessment of IT trends of the future and making these tangible.

Getting approached and asked for support is the best element of my job, as this gives me recognition and confirmation that my knowledge is valued and generates value for Infineon.

Finding all the time to find all the answers to the questions I get, so it is and will remain key to focus on the value proposition ‒ “first things first”.

I have had an overwhelming number of very good days; at Infineon you can make every day a good day – set your targets, achive small and big ones – so you will enjoy each day the same.

One of the things I love about working at Infineon is the diverse professional experience it offers. I have had the chance to work with colleagues from all around the globe as a team to achieve the best results.

Infineon is a company that provides a great platform for career growth, which is something I have come to appreciate during my time here.

Over the years, I have been given the opportunity to take on different roles with increasing levels of responsibility, from being a developer to becoming a business analyst, application owner, and even a project manager.

As one of the top semiconductor solution companies, Infineon is committed to making life easier, safer, and greener for future generations, and I am proud to be a part of that mission.

I work as a Business Analyst for the Sales And Marketing Intelligent (SAMI) Document application. Additionally, I am a lead developer for the Documentum platform, which includes the Infineon Contract Application (INCA) and SAMI Document.

Together with Post Merger Integration (PMI) project team members, we successfully integrated cypress.com into Infineon.com. As a result, Cypress product family documentation is now available on Infineon.com.

On the other hand, I’ve also contributed to a digitalization initiative of the Legal department, which aligns with company’s overall digitalization strategy.

I’m thrilled to be part of a dynamic and diverse team that is constantly exploring the latest technologies and working on the cutting-edge tech stack. As we collaborate across cultures and backgrounds, I am constantly learning and growing as a professional.

Prioritizing tasks sometimes can be challenging for me, since I tend to work on multiple tasks at the same time, always striving to complete them successfully within the timeline.

Be proactive in seeking out new opportunities and try out new things/roles even if they are not in your comfort zone. You never know where that journey might lead you and could uncover hidden talents you may not have known you possessed.
