In the area of safety the focus is on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Each new car produced in the world contains on average 25 Infineon microchips. Infineon industrial components outperform competition in energy efficiency and power management systems, delivering leading edge high voltage semiconductor spreading from pumps, fans, compressors, high performance motor drive: almost each home appliances is powered by Infineon semiconductors.
