Information

For whom is the competition?

We invite all pupils from the eighth year onwards to participate in “Chips@School”. You can take part by yourself or in groups of up to five students. Not only hobby scientists can take part, you can also submit ideas from project days or other lessons. Support from parents and teachers is also welcome.

What is this competition about?

The motto of this competition is „Your ideas for the world of tomorrow”. Chips are used in almost everything that generates, transports or consumes electricity: Cars, trains, wind turbines, computers, gaming consoles or smart phones.

You are the researchers and the developers of tomorrow. Now you have the chance to understand the capabilities and performance of Chips. In this competition you can deal with the following question:

What are the chips of tomorrow doing? How does the future look like?

Be creative and imagine how we can use chips in the future, in order to make our world a better place.

The competition is centrally organized for all Infineon locations in Germany.
