Job description

In your new role you will:
  • Act as technical lead for payment solution customer projects
  • Coordination of customer project work packages for 3rd level support
  • Member of PAY solutions system integration steering and interface to CoP / 3rd level support experts
  • Gather customer requests on tools, products and contribute to product definition phase
  • Create professional training material
  • Technical presentations and trainings for CCS-external and -internal parties
  • Worldwide FAE and 2nd level customer support for products, tools and software before, during and after design-in
  • Knowledge transfer and training of FAEs
  • Technical support at customer side together with FAEs (card production and personalization of different payment schemes)
  • Systematic information flow to FAEs and customers on news about products, tools and software (versions, updates, release dates, etc.
People Management 
  • Conducting regular 1:1 with team members
  • Setting of targets and tracking them
  • Collecting inputs on team members from various stakeholders periodically and conducting performance appraisal
  • Career development of team members 
  • Motivate people by recognizing and acknowledging top performer periodically within the team and in organizational events
  • Develop competency in team to cater present and future program requirements as aligned with business strategy
  • Collect inputs from team and preparing the list of Capex items every year
Stakeholder relationship

  • Build and develop relationship with stakeholders (PM, Sales, FAE, TCE Production/Logistics)
  • Share/collect feedback and initiate actions where appropriate
Leadership and Influence
  • Communicating and ensuring understanding of functional and departmental goals
  • Work with management on strategic objectives and drive initiatives
  • Escalate issues, with appropriate data, to management to see immediate actions
  • Managing conflicts on time
  • Demonstrate team leadership and motivate the team
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement topics
  • Engaging with other line managers across the organization


You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • 15 years’ experience in development and technical support preferably payment smartcards domain with acting several years as a technical lead
  • Experience in managing small teams (3+)
  • Experience in working with functions (HR, purchase, legal, finance etc) across the organization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities, great team-player in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment
  • Experience in improving efficiency and output of the team or organization
  • Experience in creating professional training material
  • Experience in technical trainings and presentations
  • Expert knowledge in contactless technologies (eg. EMVCo, ISO/IEC 14443), Payment Standards, RFID, system integration, testing & metering highly appreciated but not a must
  • Willingness to travel (to customers worldwide)
