Job description

As our new Component Verification Engineer, you will work in a highly professional and international team being responsible for the definition of various verification concepts and measurement test cases in constant exchange with other engineers. In addition, you will support system integration including direct contact to leading edge end-costumers. This position is just tailor made for someone who knows how to work smart and is keen-minded.

In your new job you will:
  • define component verification concepts (hard- and software)
  • specify measurement test cases
  • optimize the automation of test setup regarding time and output
  • develop hard- and software for measurement test benches
  • be responsible for effort estimations
  • execute measurements and interpret measurement results

Your specialty is the combination of working accurately and maintaining a high degree of flexibility. Furthermore, you are convincing with excellent communication skills and hands-on mentality. You are best equipped for this job if you have:
  • a university/university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or comparable
  • at least 3 years of professional experience in component verification and measurement techniques
  • in-depth knowledge in handling measurement equipment / especially audio measurement equipment (e.g. audio analyzers)
  • solid programming skills as e.g. Matlab, VBA or C for measurement automation
  • hardware skills as e.g. discrete circuit development/PCB design
  • fluent English skills with German skills as a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G ( The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
