Job description

In this job you will have firsthand responsibility for test chip development and layout, definition of lithography layers and mask specification as well as design rule and PCELL development. We offer to develop towards a technical lead role

In your new job you will:
  • Define the lithography steps of new technologies together with device and process development engineers and equipment experts in or power factory
  • Plan, coordinate and layout test chips of next generation power MOSFET and power IC technologies for automotive applications
  • Specify lithography masks and define the alignment tree for required mask layers
  • Deliver inputs for design rule checks
  • Provide programed CELLS to our circuit design engineers
During an individual training phase we will support preparing you for your new tasks. With regular feedback discussions and planning of your professional and personal development we want to ensure your success in this position.

This position is suitable for full time and part time.


As a team player you set the direction in your field of expertise and cooperate across boundaries by recognizing and using different areas of expertise and skills. With your independent working style you ensure that deliverables are complete in high quality and remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • A Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or Physics
  • Approx. 3 years of experience in layout or photo lithography
  • Alternatively a technical college graduation (e.g. HTL Matura) with 5+ years of relevant working experience
  • Experience with microelectronic layout or CAD tools
  • Fluent English skills and basic German skills are required
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group F ( The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
