The aim of this diploma thesis is to explore and develop novel control system approaches for controlling the MEMS mirror and the shooting of the laser. This topic is of particular importance, because the more accurate the MEMS and laser controlling, the more accurate the environment perception. R&D activities include algorithm exploration in Matlab / C / C++ and a prototypical implementation of the control system with the help of an FPGA prototyping platform.

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry. The salary for this position is 1.885,-- Euro gross p.m.(full-time basis) for Bachelor students and 2.210,-- Euro gross p.m. (full- time basis) for Master students.
