Job description

In your new role you will:
  • Modeling, testing and maintenance of various peripherals and bus systems of Infineon’s automotive microcontrollers based on TriCore, author architecture, design, test specifications for the modules own and customer documents
  • Integration of complete virtual prototype using tool vendor recommended authoring flow and maintaining for its life period
  • Engage, develop and support the existing internal customers (MCAL, iLLD, STL, VAL, SoC VER, IP subsystem teams)
  • Contribution the test methodology, test automation, reuse of tests (both internal and tests from RTL teams), quality improvements.
  • Engage with ACE, RTL SoC VER/VAL teams for the timing performance measurements and optimizations in C-Model
  • Engage with the RTL IP, subsystem and SoC teams for enabling early test bench development by using C-Model and influencing the test design to enable direct reuse of tests for the verification C-Model
  • Engage with the tool partners such as Synopsys, ASTC and Cadence for all tool related requirements including the methodology improvements
  • Modeling, testing and maintenance of various peripherals and bus systems of Infineon’s automotive microcontrollers based on TriCore, author architecture, design, test specifications for the modules own and customer documents
  • Conceive and develop verification/validation infrastructure for topics in own responsibility
  • Liaise with chip development and verification engineers on a need basis

Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech../M.S. in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Instrumentation with 5 to 8 years relevant experience
  • Development of functional/cycle approximate models using SystemC, with tools such as Synopsys CoMET, Virtualizer, ASTC VLAB etc. based on Visual Studio.
  • Verification of models using various methods, such as SystemC based unit testing, co-simulation (Specman), target code based system testing etc…
  • Good grasp over the techniques and technologies to identify issues in customer environments using traces, logs etc.
  • Exposure to the scripting languages such as tcl and python.
  • Good knowledge of computer architecture, real-time systems, OS.
  • Embedded system software development/validation in C, assembly languages & SDLC
  • Acquaintance with development tool-chains such as GNU, Tasking etc…
  • Good working knowledge of debuggers such as PLS, Lauterbach T32 etc…
  • Good team player in a multi-site work environment
