Job description

In your new role you will:
  • Develop state of the art test methodologies for automotive microcontrollers mixed-signal IPs using on-chip test resources
  • Develop concurrent testing strategies for automotive microcontrollers mixed-signal IPs
  • Define test cases and test concepts, by means of tight interaction with concept engineers, design engineers and lab verification engineers
  • Be responsible for pre-silicon test pattern verification
  • Participate to specify and develop automated test programs for automotive microcontrollers
  • Focus your development on AD/DA converters, power management systems, clock generation, G-bit interfaces
  • Support debugging of test methods on ATE/lab
  • Optimize test methodologies for test execution time and resource usage (pattern memory)


You demonstrate high quality standards for yourself and other people and generate value with your ideas and solutions. You communicate openly, clearly, and coherently and are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electronics, Microelectronics,
    or equivalent
  • 5+ years working experience in mixed signal test development / test pattern development area in semiconductor industries
  • 1-3 years of experience in design verification (VHDL, Verilog) and/or test engineering
  • Knowledge in microcontroller and embedded systems programming
  • Knowledge in C/C++ programming and scripting
  • Knowledge in Unix/Linux
  • Background in IC measurement both in the lab and on main ATE platforms
  • Fluent English skills with German skills as a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group F ( The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
