Job description

Your new role will include:
  • Identify cost down potentials of running technologies like SFET4, SFET5 and SFET6 and of the technologies that are currently in development like SFET7
  • Develop new process concepts / flows with that reduce production cost and identify yield improvement potentials and realization thereof
  • Besides the FE technology the holistic supply chain including chip-package interface and product is considered
  • Evaluate together with unit process new equipment that reduce production cost and identify yield improvement potentials and realization thereof
  • Close collaboration with PMM production management, unit process and process integration engineers of FAB Villach
  • Planning, coordination and evaluation of process experiments including statistical DoEs and ensure process window
  • Implementation of improvement regarding cost, yield and stability with change management processes and/or technology projects
  • Project Management of technology projects (T1-T10) with cost down scope including reporting, risk management and project planning according to TDHB (IFX Technology Development Handbook)

Profile

You are open to new ideas and receptive to other ways of thinking or working and have the passion and the courage to develop new and creative ideas. As a team player, you communicate openly, clearly, and coherently and are able to quickly establish successful cooperation also over different sites. Your communication skills help you in your daily work with production management, technology development and engineers from FE and BE and quality management.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Sciences, Physics or comparable
  • Fluent English and German required
  • More than 1 year experience in technology development or process integration
  • Knowledge in semiconductor process technology and semiconductor physics
  • Knowledge in project management and change management would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of MOSFET technologies and product portfolio of Infineon is an advantage
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G - H (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2017). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
