2. Collection and processing of personal data
2.1 We process and use only the data that you provide to us yourself. We do not collect data from other sources.
2.2 You can give your consent to the storage and processing of data at the end of the data protection declaration or in the Applicant Portal separately.
2.3 The data provided by you will be processed exclusively for the processing of your application, in case of an employment relationship also for the employment relationship and in anonymous form for statistical purposes. Processing for purposes other than those mentioned above will not be carried out.
2.4 You can open an applicant account in the application portal and add, update, change or delete your details at any time.
2.5 The technical environment of the application portal (umantis.com) is provided and operated by an external service provider (Haufe-Lexware GmbH & Co. KG in Germany). Access to your data by the external service provider is not intended. Irrespective of this, the Service Provider is obliged to comply with applicable data protection regulations.
2.6 You have the opportunity to apply for an advertised position, to make your application documents available for other positions or to submit an unsolicited application.
3. Recipient of your personal data
3.1 Your personal data will only be passed on to the responsible employees and decision-makers of the responsible personnel department and the specialist department. The employees of the Infineon Group are obliged to maintain confidentiality and protect all personal data.
3.2 In the case of unsolicited applications and applications that are to be used for other positions within the Group, the documents will also be forwarded to the positions of the Infineon Group for which the applications are intended.
3.3 In order to process the documents, it may be necessary to transmit the data to positions in other countries. We assure you that the relevant data protection regulations are adhered to.
3.4 You may revoke the transfer of your documents and further processing at any time. In the event of a revocation, your documents and personal data can no longer be considered for the current application procedure or other applications.
4. Data transfer to third parties and / or countries outside the EU
4.1 Third parties are persons or entities outside the Infineon Group who do not process personal data on Infineon's instructions.
4.2 No personal data will be passed on to third parties unless required by law to be passed on or unless disclosure is necessary for contractual reasons (e. g. travel bookings) or in the interest of the party concerned (participant whose personal data are to be processed).
4.3 The advertised position or the decision-maker(s) for filling the position may be located in a country outside the EU and the EEA in individual cases.
4.4 In the case of a transfer to recipients in third countries (for EU citizens this are countries outside the EU and the EEA, for non-EU and EEA citizens outside this are all other countries), the transfer will only take place if the EU Commission has established an appropriate level of data protection for this third country or Infineon has agreed on appropriate contractual guarantees with the recipient to ensure an adequate level of data protection. Irrespective of the EU Commission's findings, Infineon agrees with all recipients of personal data transmitted by Infineon to provide a guarantee of an appropriate level of data protection and checks compliance with the agreed measures.
5. Duration of storage and processing of personal data
5.1 Your personal data will be stored for the duration of the application process. If your application for an advertised position cannot be considered, we will automatically delete your data after 6 months after we have informed you of the rejection. We will inform you about the deletion before the expiry of this period. This period is necessary to guarantee your legal claims in the event of a rejection and to give us the opportunity to process the claims brought in.
5.2 If you want Infineon to take your application documents into account for further job advertisements after the 6 month deadline, you must register on the Applicant Portal and consent to further processing.
6. The rights of the applicant to his/her personal data
6.1 You have the right to request information from Infineon about the personal data that we have stored about you. In addition, you have the right to demand that the data be corrected, deleted, restricted, refused to be processed and that you or a third party named by you be transferred the stored data in a suitable form. You may exercise your rights by telephonic mail, e-mail or in writing. You can correct and delete your data yourself in the applicant portal.

6.3 However, we ask for your understanding that, in order to protect you against queries or inquiries by unauthorised third parties, we will only provide information in writing to the address you have entered on the applicant portal.
7. Right of appeal
7.1 If your request cannot or will not be dealt with within one month of receipt of the request, you have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority or a court of law.

8. General Terms and Conditions of Use for the application portal
8.1 The Infineon Applicant Portal is only available to registered users.
8.2 Choose a user name and a secure password during registration.
8.3 Make sure that your data, in particular your password, is not accessible to third parties.
8.4 Make sure that you provide correct information when registering. If your data should change, please update it immediately. Make sure that the e-mail address you provide to Infineon is always valid.
8.5 You can delete your account in the Applicant Portal at any time. In such a case, Infineon will remove your personal data and data that allow us to identify you personally.
8.6 You are responsible for all content (especially files, images, etc.) that you upload to the Infineon Applicant Portal. You are also responsible for ensuring that no content you upload to the Infineon Applicant Portal infringes upon any personal rights, intellectual property rights, and proprietary or third party rights.
8.7 You are responsible for all transactions and other activities carried out through your account. If and to the extent that you become aware that third parties are misusing your data, inform Infineon immediately in writing or, if necessary, by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org). After receiving such notification, Infineon will block access to your account on the applicant portal. Your account will be deactivated immediately. You can only use the Applicant Portal again once you have registered new.
8.8 You indemnify Infineon and its affiliated companies against all claims for damages by third parties arising from the disclosure of your password to third parties or from the performance of illegal activities by you or third parties for which you are responsible.
9. Applications used on the website
9.2 Adobe Analytics (Omniture)
We use Adobe Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited ("Adobe"). Adobe Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site.
If the data generated by the cookie about the use of the website is transmitted to an Adobe server, the settings ensure that the IP address is anonymized prior to geolocation and replaced by a generic IP address prior to storage.
