Since the establishment of its IC Design Centre in the early 1990s, Infineons R&D team here has grown to over 300 research scientists and engineers. Infineon also employs some 200 IC designers. This makes Infineon the largest IC design team in Singapore.
"The opening of the new Asia Pacific Headquarters building marks a significant milestone for Infineon," said Dr. Ziebart. "Currently, the Asia Pacific headquarters contributes over one-third of Infineons revenue. With Asia on its continued path as one of the strongest growth engines for the semiconductor industry, Infineon is poised for further growth.
