Equity Based Compensation

1. Performance Share Plan (PSP)

With effective date May 3rd, 2013 the Infineon Performance Share Plan (PSP) has replaced the Infineon Stock Option Plan 2010.
The PSP is an unlimited plan with no expiry date. Under the PSP Infineon can issue virtual shares in annual tranches, which may, after a holding period of 4 years, be converted into own shares or shares whose issuance has been authorized by shareholders to this effect.

2. Stock Option Plans (SOP)

Stock Option Plan 2010 (SOP 2010)

With the resolution dated February 11th, 2010 the Infineon Technologies AG annual general shareholders' meeting authorized the introduction of the Infineon Technologies Stock Option Plan 2010. Under this plan, Infineon issued stock options in annual tranches until the end of the business year 2012/2013.
Options granted under this plan will expire December 2019 at the latest.

2. Restricted Stock Unit Plan (RSUP)

In the fiscal year 2017, Infineon implemented the Restricted Stock Unit Plan (RSUP), addressing Infineon US-employees and based on local market conditions.
