The Infineon XENSIV™ PAS CO2 sensor was voted “Product of the Year 2021” by the readers of Germany's “Elektronik” trade magazine.

The pandemic has made observation of indoor air quality all the more important. CO2 is a key parameter in indoor air quality, which correlates directly with the aerosols that transmit the virus. Smart ventilation and warning systems equipped with the XENSIV™ PAS CO2 sensor from Infineon help reduce the risk of infection by indoor airborne transmission by warning of poor air quality and providing the necessary fresh air supply. But even without the pandemic, sensor measurements will improve awareness of indoor air quality and thus increase well-being and productivity – whether in the office, at school or at home.
