Infineon offers a wide range of automotive qualified gate driver ICs covering the usage of MOSFET, IGBT and SiC technologies in automotive applications ranging from 12 V up to 1200 V. Built-in protection, monitoring and diagnostic features facilitate to meet ISO26262 functional safety requirements.
Infineon´s automotive qualified gate driver ICs cover the low voltage domain of 12 V and 48 V applications with ISO26262 compliant full-bridge and 3-phase bridge drivers. The products are ideal for a variety of automotive applications such as electric power steering, brake booster, MHEV starter generator, active roll control, HVAC compressor as well as pumps and fans and where efficiency, space savings and monitoring functions are priorities.
Infineon´s High Voltage Gate Driver ICs provide galvanic isolation for automotive applications above 5kW such as the main inverter, DCDC converter and on-board charger in (hybrid) electric vehicles and support IGBT and SiC technologies up to 1200V.
