MOTIX™ TLE9842-2QX fits perfectly with the window lift applications by offering efficiency

MOTIX™ TLE9842-2QX is a part of the TLE984x product family. The TLE984x product family integrates an Arm® Cortex® M0 microcontroller core along with relay drivers, high side switches, LIN transceiver and a power supply system that enables the device to operate at the vehicle battery level. The TLE984x family offers scalability in terms of Flash memory sizes ranging from 36kB to 64kB with pin-compatible devices.

The TLE984x family was specifically designed to fit to a wide range of LIN-slave applications where a small package form factor and a minimum number of external components are essential, e.g. window lift.

The TLE984x product family is offered in a leadless VQFN-48 package to save board space.

Infineon Embedded Power ICs are supported by a complete development tool chain provided by Infineon and third party vendors. The tool chain includes compilers, debuggers, evaluation boards, LIN low level drivers and configuration tools as well as variety of example software code.

Toolchain Installation Steps		Company	Description
STEP 1	Download and Install Keil^® µVision5		Arm^® Keil^®µVision is an integrated development environment which consists of code editor, compiler and debugger. To learn how to use Arm^® Keil^®µVision 5, check out our video "Get your motor spinning".
STEP 2	Download Config Wizard		Infineon provides the Config Wizard free of charge which is designed for configuration of chip modules. Config Wizard supports easy configuring of Embedded Power peripherals. Config Wizard V2 can be installed via the Infineon Toolbox. If you don`t have the Infineon Toolbox yet, please go to Infineon Toolbox and enjoy the release management for updates.*
STEP 3	Download and Install Segger J-Link Driver		SEGGER J-Link is a widely used driver for "on-board" or "stand-alone" debugger.
STEP 4	Download the SDK via µVision 5 Pack Installer (see step 1)		The Embedded Power Software Development Kit (SDK) is a low level driver library which can be downloaded within Keil^® µVision via the "Pack Installer"

Power Dissipation	The Power Dissipation Tool is an interface that helps you estimate the power dissipation and the temperature of the chip. It is available for the whole Embedded Power IC family. The Power Dissipation Tool can be installed via the Infineon Toolbox. If you don`t have the Infineon Toolbox yet, please go to Infineon Toolbox and enjoy the release management for updates.
Boot Strap Loader Support via uIO Stick	Embedded Power ICs provide a built-in boot strap loader (BSL) for programming the system-on-chip devices over the built-in LIN transceiver or UART. The uIO Stick acts as an interface between the TLE98xx device and a PC. It handles the BSL protocols as well as the physical layers. A PC application (uIO BSL Tool) provides access to all BSL functions of the Embedded Power device.
MicroInspector (Pro)	Micro Inspector Pro is a graphical visualization tool within Infineon Toolbox to interact with Infineon embedded systems based on Arm® Cortex®-M cores. Micro Inspector Pro in unregistered mode (without entering a license key) allows the complete usage of existing dashboards. With the registered version, saving a modified or newly created dashboard is possible. The license key to register can be requested via Infineon support channel: http://www.infineon.com/tac

Power Dissipation
