Control Board for iMOTION™ Modular Application Design Kit (MADK)
Our EVAL-M1-099M is powered by IRMCK099M iMOTION™ Motor Control IC featuring advanced Motor Control Engine (MCE), which enables state-of-the-art Sensorless Field Oriented Control (FOC) without need for any coding. For system parametrizing and tuning, a user also requires MCE Wizzard and MCE Designer software tools which are delivered through our 99 Series Installer package available for download under the Software & Tools tab. The 99 Series Installer also contains latest IRMCK099M controller firmware, documentation and other useful information.
The IRMCK099 is a product from the first iMOTION™ generation and is well within the maturity phase of the product lifecycle. For all new projects Infineon strongly recommends to use the second generation of iMOTION™ products. Please consider using the EVAL-M1-101T which is based on the IMC101T-T038 motor controller.
The Eval-M1-099M board requires MCETOOLV2, an isolated JTAG and UART based debugger board, which is necessary for parametrizing and controlling the IRMCK099M IC. The EVAL-M1-099M-C kit does not include the MCETOOLV2 which needs to be ordered separately. Check MCETOOLV2 website for more details.
