Job description

As an Analog Design Engineer you will be responsible for the module/block design of Power Management Systems (DCDC-converter and LDO) from concept through release to production.

In your new role you will be responsible for:
  • Feasibility study, product concept and test concept definition.
  • Circuit design and verification of analog, mixed signal and power devices.
  • Circuit debug and lab evaluation.
  • Contribution to pin and design FMEAs.
  • Technical leading of junior engineers.
  • Cooperation with application and product engineering for customer support.
  • Support of qualification, product engineering, production testing and ramp-up.

Profile

You pursue ambitious goals, live up to high quality standards and you are prepared to manage risks actively. As a team player you think and act in a cooperative way and you are able to quickly establish successful cooperation to other teams inside Infineon.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • A university degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
  • A strong experience in the design of analog / mixed signal integrated circuits.
  • Know-how in DCDC and linear regulators design is considered a plus.
  • Good understanding of both CMOS and bipolar processes. 
  • Understanding of Smart Power Technologies is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of IC design tools (Cadence Virtuoso schematic and layout editor).
  • Knowledge of simulation tools (Spice, Spectre).
  • Experience with mixed signal IC laboratory characterization.
  • Fluency in English.
