Ventures News: RiverOne Expands Executive Management Team: Four New Vice Presidents Added

Westlake Village, Calif. and Freemont, Calif. — April 23, 2003 — RiverOne Inc., a provider of supply chain software and services for manufacturers to control processes between customers and suppliers, announced today that it has made several additions to its executive team. Of the four new vice presidents, two executives were hired from outside the organization and two come from internal promotion.


“We are investing in our core management team in preparation for continued growth,” said Maury Friedman, president and CEO of RiverOne. “RiverOne is experiencing increased sales activity as well as accelerated roadmaps at existing customer sites. The added management resources will assure that we can effectively react to customer and market demands.”


John Grosshans joins RiverOne as vice president of worldwide sales. Mr. Grosshans possesses over fifteen years of experience with enterprise software companies in the areas of sales, management, marketing, business development and operations. Prior to working for RiverOne, John Grosshans served as vice president of worldwide sales and services for Access360, an enterprise software company which was recently acquired by IBM. Mr. Grosshans has also served as a vice president of sales for Parametric Technology Corporation and as executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for Vuent, Inc. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Distribution with distinction from Clarkson University.


Channagiri Jagadish joins RiverOne as vice president of engineering. He possesses over sixteen years of experience in software development and management. Prior to RiverOne, Mr. Jagadish worked at AMD where he served as senior member of technical staff. Prior to his work with AMD, Channagiri Jagadish served as vice president of engineering for Avasta and as vice president of engineering and CTO of geoTouch. Additionally, Mr. Jagadish has held software development positions for major technology companies including DEC, Oracle and Mentor Graphics. He holds a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Idaho, a M.S. in Environmental Science from IIT Mumbai in India and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bangalore University in India.


Mark Levy and Nate Palmer were promoted to vice president of products and vice president of professional services, respectively. Each possesses over 15 years of experience in supply-chain management and operations. In addition, they both joined RiverOne from Pittiglio Rabin Todd & McGrath (PRTM), the leading management consultancy to technology-based business where they were principals.
