Low-power Personal Care applications operate in the 5 W – 30 W range; they are battery-powered and rechargeable. The PSoC™ microcontroller integrates digital performance with Bluetooth/BLE connectivity and the industry-leading CAPSENSE™ touch display control technology. Combining the low-voltage IR MOSFET™ portfolio with flexible circuit topologies, any function such as DC motors and LED lights can be driven with high efficiency and reliability. Infineon offers the best fit for low-side, high-side, half-bridge and H-bridge drive discrete configurations with industry-leading N-channel, P-channel and dual-channel MOSFET technology. With Infineon’s broad range of Hall switches and linear sensors with different thresholds, pressure sensing can be designed into a simple and accurate solution. By measuring the magnetic field radiated from a magnet internally attached to the user’s handle, the pressure applied onto the device can be tracked either linearly or with a simple binary output telling the user to apply less pressure.
