A fantastic finish in Siemens colors
If you take a look at the many milestones and successes in all areas of our company, you might think that the staff did not want to leave any successes for the next millennium:
EZM continues to expand the field of integrated sensor systems while the new field of security systems is being established in Graz. Meanwhile, production in Villach celebrates the 25-millionth high-voltage SLIC (Subscriber Line Interface Circuit), the 55-millionth IC for ABS systems and the 100-millionth voltage regulator.
The most significant milestone was also the fulfillment of a dream of the long-serving (1973-1985) site manager Wolfgang Spalek: Villach became a global competence center for power electronics within the Siemens Group. But the new millennium was to bring many successes and eventful times, too.
