Infineon Austria the number one in research & development

For the second time in a row, the business magazine trend named Infineon Austria as Austria's strongest research company.

In the 2019 fiscal year, 525 million euros, around 17 percent of total revenues, were spent on research and development. 1,977 experts work on new solutions, technologies and innovations in the development centers in Villach, Graz and Linz. Infineon Austria thus employs over a quarter of the R&D workforce of the entire group.
