At Infineon, we develop sensor solutions that enable simple, effortless, and convenient user experiences with all kinds of smart devices. So that the technology around us makes life easier for us and that we can focus on what really matters in life. If we take a look at the human sensory system, we receive information about the world around us from our senses - sometimes from one of them, mostly from a few. And even though we are not always aware of it, the crosstalk between them is constant. For most sensory experiences, our brain combines information from multiple sensory systems. With technology, this process is called sensor fusion.

We have developed first use cases with a holistic approach that combines several smart senses into coherent intelligent systems. This enables us to turn several complex technical processes into one simple solution. To achieve this, different sensors complement each other to gain and process situational data.
